Today’s Cabinet meeting will be starting an hour earlier than usual, beginning at 5pm.
The meeting was brought forward due to the many items being discussed.
These include the proposed 2012/13 budget and the third quarter Performance and Finance Report.
Other items being discussed
Cllr George Brown, Cabinet Member for the Economy and the Environment, will be discussing the disposal of the Sunnycrest Nursery in Newchurch.
Cllr Dawn Cousins, Cabinet Member for Children’s Services and Education will present the Isle of Wight Adoption Strategy and Action Plan and well as the Review of Children’s Social Work Service Improvements and Market Supplements.
Cllr Roger Mazillius, Cabinet Member for Adult Social Care, Housing and Community Safety, will be discussing the outcomes of the Eligibility Threshold Judicial Review Decision and setting out the next steps and implication for decision making.
