Building on the success of their 2023 event, Red Squirrel Studios plan to return to Ventnor Exchange in early 2026 with their interactive History of the Synthesiser exhibition.
They want more Island musicians and collectors to take part and bring their own instruments along to broaden the display.
Looking for more community involvement
The previous exhibition drew strong interest, but James and Mark transported much of their own collection, which included a Jupiter-6, an ARP 2600 and a Prophet-5.
They now want to share the workload and expand the range of synthesisers on show.
James says,
“This time, we’re hoping to build a small team of local enthusiasts to make the event even better.
“If you live on the Island and own a vintage synthesiser (or even a few!) and would like to be involved, we’d love to hear from you.”
How to take part
They invite anyone with a vintage synth and a passion for electronic music history to join the project.
