Peer Studios - Brave Island project showing young people making art

Calling young musicians aged 13-25: Your chance to get involved over the next two weekends

Jess Leigh Ong and Brave Island have opened a new creative space in Ventnor for the month of March.

They invite 13 to 25-year-olds to join them for the next two Saturdays and Sundays (18th/19th and 25th/26th) between 11am-5pm for community music sessions, workshops, jamming and performances.

You can bring your own instruments or use the ones provided.

Creative space
As you can see from the photos, the group have worked hard last weekend, creating artwork and decorating the Pier Street shop to make it a welcoming and creative space for young people. (Though they had time for a little jamming session too!)

Support
The funding for the shop was raised by Independent Arts on behalf of The Island Collection and extends Artswork’s brilliant Supporting Young Minds investment programme.
