Our friends over at Bestival HQ have just sent over the latest news about Bestival’s sister festival, Camp Bestival being held in Dorset this July.
Camp Bestival is much more of a family affair than Bestival and excellent fun for the kids.
There’s already a great lineup of music and entertainment, but added to the list today is news that Will Young will be performing and the fancy dress theme has been announced.
Here’s what head honcho Rob Da Bank had to say …..
“I think only Camp Bestival could get away with such a riotously diverse set of line up additions: Will Young was a smash at Bestival last year dressed up to the nines in fancy dress so we had to get him back, Phoenix have made one of the best pop crossover albums of this year and I’m so proud to present them at Lulworth and Tinchy Strider is a star in the making and sure to have the kids… and me… bogling like crazy.
“And after consulting the good people of our online forum, we’ve also picked the fancy dress theme for Camp Bestival 2009 … Animal Magic! Read into that what you will… unicorns, bears, elephants, Scooby Doos, Johnny Morris look-alikes and Paul Daniels impersonators will all be very welcome to join our dressing up parade on Sunday afternoon. Roll on July!”
Camp Bestival Ticket Payment Plan
The Camp Bestival team are offering a payment plan for weekend camping tickets.
As well as adding some sterling turns to our line up (see below for the full list of new additions) we are also introducing our brand new and unique Camp Bestival Ticket Payment Plan.
As festival goers and family peeps ourselves we know times are tough at the moment and especially for families, so we’ve devised a cunning plan so you can buy Camp Bestival tickets via a unique staggered payment system that gives you the chance to spread the cost of buying tickets across three equal payments.
Basically, if you’re planning your summer holiday to our Dorset camping spectacular and you want to secure your place now, all you have to do is pay a third of the total ticket cost with the further two payments spread across the following two consecutive months, simple as that.
We’re proud to say this is a UK festival first that we’ve developed with our ticket partners Ticketline – one of the leading and most trusted companies for event ticketing in the UK.
We hope this will sweeten your summer and take the pressure off a bit, whilst keeping the kids and other-halves happy that a holiday is on the horizon. The scheme is available to families and to individuals buying Weekend Camping tickets.
This is going live from midday on Thursday 19th March. For more information and to register, please go to: www.ticketline.co.uk/camp-bestival-tickets
