Islanders invited to Cancer Awareness Day

The Awareness Day is open to any member of the public who may have any questions relating to Cancer. It will also provide education and support to those individuals or their family members who may need it.

St Mary's Cone:Every year the Isle of Wight NHS Trust sees over 1,000 patients for a range of cancer treatments.

A range of staff including Clinical Nurse Specialists will be available to discuss all aspects of cancer services and advise you on how to spot the signs and symptoms early to enable treatment to be effective.

Services attending include:

  • Wessex Cancer Trust
  • The John Chesterton Centre
  • Macmillan Information Centre
  • Isle of Wight NHS Trust

The majority of services provided by Isle of Wight NHS Trust are commissioned and funded by Isle of Wight Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) with specialist cancer services funded by NHS England.
