This year, the Ventnor Carnival week starts on Monday 14th August.
Ventnor Neighbourhood Learning are offering the chance for you to get involved and make carnival costumes for you and/or your child. With a few simple materials and expert guidance on what to do, you’ll be amazed at what you can produce.
There’ll be six weekly workshops starting next week at the following two venues:
• At Ventnor Children’s Centre, Albert Street on Tuesdays (starting 6th June) 12pm — 2pm (some free child care places available, pre-booking essential)
• At St Boniface School on Wednesday (starting 7th June) 6.30pm-8.30pm
Open to all adults and older children (8+) to evening session (no unaccompanied children).
There will be a theme for the costumes and the two groups will join together to form a whole group entry at Ventnor Carnival on 16th August.
