Detaching, musing, contemplation, taking time out, with so few minutes to spare, innately infused with progression, consciously leaving the present to pause, go back and self-gratify.
So precious and special, permission to one’s self, to switch-off, changing focus, delight and secret away. Allowing sounds to emerge, hearing all, the detail, subtle whirrs, the rustling of skin as its smoothed. Adjusting the resonance from talk, TV, machines, to footsteps, birdsong or breathing.
Space to reflect
Recollecting and savouring the tone, texture and visuals of a performance, concert, or lover, alone. Allowing space to reflect, explore even luxuriate in the moments when the heart was racing, or eyes welling with tears.
Occasionally going to ground, escaping daily life, taking stock – what do I feel, what do I see, what do I smell and how I am?
Recalling personal dates, dramatic, wonderful and nourishing, just once in a while, savouring the words from another, the touch, the moment, those emotional bonds.
Pausing, considering the intentions, the poetry, intuition, depth and will of another. Substituting daily requirements with memories and personal thoughts.
Understanding the vision
Perhaps it was the unsaid words, the chemistry, gentle gaps that uncover what is not seen or spoken.
Slowly, understanding the vision, taking the insight and mentally progressing to a pleasant place.
Hunting that moment, deep inside, to warm, excite then calm, as the flow takes hold, builds and subsides. Flushed with personal essence, pulse rate change, ahead of age and time, the true person within, he who seeks shall find.
