Wight Ryders:

Changes to Wightlink cat timetable (updated)

This in from Wightlink, in their own words. Ed

We’ve had to make some changes to our Portsmouth–Ryde Catamaran timetable this afternoon and tomorrow morning (Tuesday 15 July). This is because we’re carrying out essential maintenance to Wight Ryder I. We will continue to provide a frequent service with Wight Ryder II and have also scheduled a charter vessel this afternoon and tomorrow morning until Wight Ryder I returns in the afternoon.

Wight Ryder II will operate on sailings at 15 minutes past the hour from Portsmouth Harbour, and 47 minutes past the hour from Ryde Pier. Wight Ryder I will return to service at 1640 tomorrow and our normal timetable will resume from this point.

A charter vessel with a crossing time of approximately 30 minutes will be used on the following sailings:

Monday 14 July
From Portsmouth: 16:40, 17:45
From Ryde: 17:15

Tuesday 15 July
From Portsmouth: 07:40, 08:50
From Ryde: 07:10, 08:15, 09:25

The 18:45 sailing from Portsmouth, 18:10 and 19:15 sailings from Ryde will not be running this evening and the 06:40 from Portsmouth will not be running tomorrow. We’d like to take this opportunity to apologise for the inconvenience caused by the unavoidable changes.
