Changes to Wightlink Catamaran today

This in from Wightlink, in their own words, Ed

We’ve had to make some changes to our Portsmouth–Ryde Catamaran timetable on morning of Tuesday 20 May.

FastCatThis is because we’re carrying out essential maintenance to Wight Ryder II. We will continue to provide a frequent service with Wight Ryder I and have also scheduled a charter vessel on Tuesday morning until Wight Ryder II returns in the afternoon.

Wight Ryder I will operate on sailings at 15 minutes past the hour from Portsmouth Harbour, and 47 minutes past the hour from Ryde Pier. Wight Ryder II will return to service at 1640 and our normal timetable will resume from this point.

A charter vessel will be used on the following sailings:

Tuesday 20 May
From Portsmouth: 07:40, 08:40
From Ryde: 07:10, 08:10, 09:10

The crossing time on the charter vessel will be approximately 25 minutes. We’d like to take this opportunity to apologise for the inconvenience caused by the unavoidable changes.
