‘One and Only’ singer Chesney Hawkes and BBC DJ Mark Radcliffe are among the first names announced for the 2022 Drumming and Strumming for Shanklin Theatre lineup.
The nineties singer will headline the event.
Meanwhile, Mark Radcliffe, who can be heard on Radio 2 and Radio 6 Music and who also presents Glastonbury Festival, will make an appearance during the virtual charity concert.
Other artists performing
Northern Irish rock band The 4 Of Us will also perform, alongside local musicians Amy Jolliffe, Greg Barnes and The Solar Escape.
Fallen Riders, featuring Kris Birkin – a former member of The Bees – will be featured too and more names will be added to the lineup in the coming weeks.
Where and when
The online event will take place on Thursday, 28th April and will premiere on YouTube at 7pm.
The aim of the virtual concert is to persuade viewers to donate to Shanklin Theatre, which you can do online now.
