Their representative, Kieran, presented ward staff with Christmas presents, for children who will be on the ward on Christmas Day, visiting over the Christmas period or receiving care in the family home over the festive period.

Hospital play specialist from the Children’s Ward at St. Mary’s Hospital, Dionne Davies, said:

“We’re grateful to Kier for making this donation. This will bring some Christmas magic to some poorly children over this festive period. Being ill at Christmas is no fun but these presents will help to make Christmas special for them.”

Steve Quarmby, managing quantity surveyor at Kier said:

“We are very grateful to the Trust for allowing us to participate in this event which we hope will give the children staying at the hospital a special Christmas. The presents we provided were partly funded by our subcontractors MCM Construction, GCF, FW Marsh and Clarkes Mechanical, and we appreciate their support. Kieran enjoys an outing from time to time but this was his first visit to the Island and he said that he was pleased to spread a little Christmas cheer.”
