To help get them into the Christmas mood on Monday 22 December 2014 customers to Sainsbury’s Newport store were treated to a musical welcome by Wight Harmony, the Island’s male Barbershop singing chorus.

Singing a variety of songs from their wide repertoire, plus some seasonal carols and Christmas songs, the chorus were raising money for Haylands Farm, the Ryde Mencap facility providing training, recreation and support for young adults with learning difficulties.

Through the generosity of Sainsbury’s customers £152 was raised from a bucket collection.
