Colemans Farm Park has been a popular choice for families with young children for many years, Islanders and visitors alike.
Based near Porchfield, the attraction offers hands-on daily activities for children including petting of animals, tractor trailer rides as well as undercover and outdoor play areas.
“Significant changes to the business”
Sadly for many, the Farm Park posted a message on Facebook yesterday (Sunday), informing their loyal customers that the petting farm and play barns would close a week before the October half term.
They say,
It is with great sadness that we must inform all our loyal and lovely customers that due to significant changes to the business, our petting farm and play barns shall not be reopening for the 2016 season.
The last open day of 2015 will be Friday 9th October, and so we urge all of our frequent visitors who have a free visit due to make use of this loyalty reward soon.
From all here, our sincerest thanks for your support over the years and for helping to make Colemans Farm Park such a lovely place for our animals and us to live and work in.
The post was widely shared as people left their commiserations about news of the closure.
