We hear from his family, the sad news that well loved Ventnor milkman and former long-time town councillor, Colin Elvers, suffered a stroke last week.
Obviously, our thoughts and best wishes are with Colin and his family, who we hope is able to make a speedy recovery.
To all those who have shown their support over the past few days, Colin’s family have this message.

Colin suffered a stroke on Thursday 1 April and is currently in the Stroke Unit at St Marys Hospital. We would like to request no visitors at this stage as the visiting times are very restricted and Colin is still extremely tired but is making very good progress along the slow road to recovery.
