Many people have told us how much they enjoyed watching the Isle of Wight episode of Come Dine With Me a couple of weeks ago.
Who could forget the four contestants?
Isle of Wight Radio news editor Michael Coombes, car salesman Steve Morris, travel rep Mandy Gale and of course the wonderful Charlotte Barton-Hoare, teacher, actress and adorable eccentric.
Fellow blogger Fernandomando also enjoyed the show, so it’s not surprising that he was rather put out the following week by Charlotte Hofton’s uncalled for attack on the contestants in her weekly column for the County Press.
In fact, he was so put out that he decided to put pen to paper (or more likely, fingers to keyboard) and write to the CP to declare his distaste.
Little did he realise that it would result in contact from the gorgeous Charlotte Barton-Hoare herself!
The Internet is a huge place, but easy to find what you’re looking for if you know how. Following publication of his letter, it wasn’t long before young Charlie had tracked down the blogger.
He says that he’d love to have dinner with the four contestants, Charlotte has agreed (and nominated Michael too) so we hope Fernandomando will let us know if he ever follows through with his invitation.
