Charlie:

Come Home Charlie! Appeal for help in finding lost dog

Thanks to Cora for this update on missing dog, Charlie. In her own words, Ed

Charlie disappeared on Friday 18th October from Stenbury Down at the start of a walk with his owner Carol Jones. Since Charlie has been missing, teams of volunteers have joined Carol in some of the worst weather the Island has experienced in a long time, to scour the Countryside in a bid to find him.

Facebook group supports search
With the support of Internet Facebook page ‘Lost Pets IoW’ – volunteers have liaised with each other, organising parties of people to search the places Charlie may have travelled. Charlie’s online poster has been shared locally over 1000 times, with hard copies being distributed daily and displayed Island-wide.

Dozens of searchers are joined by many more well-wishers every day, who only want to see Charlie safe and back at home with his owner.

Carol says,

“The support has been amazing! There are so many people looking for Charlie – it would have been much harder for me without all these good-hearted people helping.”

£150 reward
There is a reward of £150 for any genuine information that leads to the safe return of Charlie.

If you have seen Charlie, or know of his whereabouts, please contact Carol directly on 863921 or 07903 662180.
