Cotswold Male Voice Choir to make Isle of Wight debut at free Shanklin concert

Last updated:

The Cotswold Male Voice Choir will make their first visit to the Isle of Wight on Friday 17th April, performing a free concert at the Church of St Saviour On-The-Cliff in Queens Road, Shanklin.

Doors open at 6.30pm, with the concert starting at 7pm and the final encore expected around 9pm.

The Newchurch Male Voice Choir will host the evening, with the two choirs joining together for at least part of the programme.

77 years of choral tradition
Now in its 77th year, the Cotswold choir has built a wide repertoire spanning classic hymns, love songs, and popular favourites.

The programme includes hymns such as Morte Criste and Calon Lan, alongside songs like Let It Be Me, with both choirs coming together to perform Elvis Presley’s American Trilogy.

Raising money for Age UK
Entry to the concert is free, with a collection at the end in aid of Age UK Isle of Wight.

All proceeds will go towards supporting older people across the Island.
