The Kingston Arms in Cowes will be hosting an event this Thursday evening in the hope that any residents who have not lodged their views with the council over the proposed asphalt plant do so before the Friday (21st) deadline.
Organisers of the event are hoping for a good turnout to show the council that there are more than a ‘handful of objectors’.
They also say that a young local band will be playing a new protest song from 7pm.
Tea and coffee will be available as well as a good range of non alcoholic drinks for those who don’t want to sample the local real ales.
