One of life’s certainties on the Isle of Wight is to find copies of the County Press available for purchase on Friday mornings. To many it’s a tradition.
This morning, things are a little different, as the paper isn’t at some newsagents, instead a note from Menzies distribution Ryde greets them.

We anticipate that these titles will be delivered aprpox 4 to 5 hours later than your normal delivery time.

The County Press have a put a message on their own Website saying this is “due to a transport problem”, with the paper’s editor, Alan Marriott saying, “This is a one-off problem and we are working with our distributors to put it right.”
