Last year when Eric Geddes had his excellent retrospective exhibition at Quay Arts, we were lucky enough to catch David George’s short film about the artist.
At the beginning of April, David will be returning to Quay Arts, but this time with five short films about Island artists Derek Barran (of Totland Pier), Jenny Clayden, Colin Riches, Janice Thwaites and there’s another chance to see the film about Eric Geddes.
Each film explores the artists’ creative imperative and reflects George’s belief in “allowing artists to speak for themselves”.
Having really enjoyed the Eric Geddes film, we can highly recommend this event.
There will be a Q&A with the director and artists following the screening.
