Leader of Isle of Wight Council David Pugh will be appearing on IW Radio today at midday.
If you’re not able to listen in, VB will be doing a live response to the interview, so if you can’t tune into IW Radio, log on to VB from midday.
As has been already stated in comments on other VB stories, this will not be a phone in, but rather an interview based on questions put forward by IW Radio listeners.
We reckon this is a big shame and IW Radio could have scored a few brownie points had they run it as a phone-in.
Over the last week, questions for Cllr Pugh have been added to IW Radio’s Facebook page.
The list has been growing daily, with around 40 comments/questions ready to be presented to Cllr Pugh.
There are a range of questions as you’d expect; the future of Military Road; Hospice severing ties with The Gazette; ferry prices; parking permits and “why is he not doing his job properly?”.
It’ll be interesting to see whether some of the trickier questions get posed to Cllr Pugh, who no doubt will’ve been watching the list of questions grow over the course of the week. Obviously giving him time to prepare.
