We hear from producers of the Politics Show South that Leader of the Isle of Wight Council, the youthful David Pugh, will be appearing on the programme tomorrow lunchtime on BBC1 from 12.30pm.
(The Beeb got in touch with VB about an article that we’d written, and we were happy to give them some more details on it).
Gerald Vernon-Jackson (Leader of Portsmouth City Council) and David Pugh will be taking part in the programme which will be looking at why some councils are putting up council tax, while others are cutting it.
As readers may know, the Isle of Wight Council will be rubber stamping the 3.5% predicted rise in Council Tax for Islanders this week at the Full Council meeting on the 25th February.
