The weekend before last saw a healthy crowd of music lovers pack themselves in the Crab and Lobster pub in Ventnor to help Dick Taylor celebrate his 70th birthday.
The old rocker, who was one of the founding members of the Rolling Stones and still lead guitarist with The Pretty Things, spent the evening performing a great mix of blues and rock n’ roll with his Isle of Wight band, The Hillmans.
The event was caught on camera by Jon Whatley of South Wight TV and Dick was interviewed during the break by John’s wife, Heather.
