Documentary shares experiences of Ventnor residents living in poverty

Monday evening sees the outcome of a documentary film project commissioned by the Ventnor Town Council.

Produced by local documentary maker, Utility Films, Family Voice is a film that records the experiences of Ventnor residents living in poverty. 

The film looks at the personal experiences of poverty through interviews with users of Ventnor Community Foodbank, Baby Box Isle of Wight and Ventnor Town Council’s Food and Fuel voucher scheme.

Where and when
The first public showing for Ventnor residents will be at 6pm on Monday 3rd October at St Catherine’s Church, Ventnor.

The film will be followed by discussions of what we, as a community, can do in response to the issues raised.
