We know how much you all loved the videos and photos of dolphins off the coast of Ventnor last October. Well, it sounds as though they might be back again.
Ann from Ventnor alerted Islanders via the Isle of Wight Community Information Group earlier today saying,
“Hubby just back from dog walking said Dolphins leaping out of the water and swimming towards Shanklin.”
The dolphins have been spotted in Sandown Bay by the Sandown and Shanklin Independent Lifeboat who tweeted earlier,

Have you seen them?
Dolphins go where dolphins feel – They’re free-spirited creatures – so they might have skipped off back to where they came from, or they might be doing an Island tour.
Although it’s still a bit foggy out there, if you do see them and get to capture any shots or video of the dolphins, do let us know so we can share with our readers.
A welcome return
Dolphins were last spotted off the coast of Ventnor in October 2015.
Ventnorian Daisy Blake managed to capture some brilliant footage of these beautiful beasts frolicking through the waves.
