The weekend starts early this week, because on Thursday night there’s a once in a lifetime (well, on the island anyway) chance to experience the worldclass Damo Suzuki Network.
Fifty six year old, Damo Suzuki (better known as lead singer in the German psychedelica’s Can) will perform unrehearsed alongside island greats such as Max Brennan, Rupert Brown, Ergo Phizmiz, Heather McCallum, Ben Wilbee and several of The Bees.
Organised and hosted by Ventnor based Match My Foot Records, it’s going to be a crazy crazy night and one not to be missed.

The Fall’s 1985 album This Nation’s Saving Grace features a song “I Am Damo Suzuki,” inspired by and dedicated to the singer.
