As the events diary is still down, thought I’d mention that tomorrow at the Quay Arts Centre you can give your little darlings a treat and take them to see Don’t let the Pigeon Drive the Bus, a play By Mo Willems, adapted for the stage by Adam Bampton-Smith.
This lively show for children aged three and up is full of fun, feathers, laughter and excitement and features original music and lots of audience participation!
The friendly bus driver leaves us with one simple instruction: “Don’t let the pigeon drive the bus!” However, the Pigeon is very clever and whines, bribes, pleads, and even sings a song to get his own way … will he, won’t he … the suspense is too much.
Directed by Juliet Forster, Lyrics by Guy Picot, Music by Shock Productions, Lighting Design by Will Evans, Pigeon designed and constructed by Anna Poland, Scenic Artist Claire Surtherland.
