If you’re a fan of the social media network, Twitter, then you might be interested in watching, or for that matter, taking part in the hilarious TwitPanto being performed this afternoon.
If you’re scratching your head wondering what on earth a TwitPanto is, then read on.
A group of fun loving folk, who also happen to spend a great deal of their time on the social network, have got together to perform a panto through the power of Twitter.
The cast has been chosen, but fellow tweeters who didn’t know about this in advance or didn’t make it through the auditions (actually we’re not sure there really were any auditions) can get involved by simply adding the following hashtag to their tweets – #twitpanto.
This will ensure that their heckling text will appear on the page along with those officially performing.
The action kicks off at 3.30pm today, so set your alarms and don’t forget to visit TwitPanto at the Birmingham Hippodrome to enjoy the fun.
With characters such as ‘Trafigura, the Dame’ and the likes of @dullaccountant playing Keeper of the Royal dosh, we reckon this could quite a laugh.
