Motorists are being advised of upcoming road works on a main road in Newport.
Fairlee Road will have a one way restriction in place for all traffic travelling towards Newport from the access road to Seaclose Park to Staplers Road between 6.30pm and 12am (midnight) on Monday 21, Tuesday 22, Wednesday 23 and if necessary on Thursday 24 February 2011.
The works are being carried out by Southern Water for the installation of ducting for sewer monitoring equipment.
Diversion routes will be in place during the works. Traffic travelling in a Northeast direction (towards East Cowes and Wootton) will not be affected.
