Elderly Pedestrian Injured In Collision In Ryde

Police TapePolice are investigating a report of an elderly man being injured in a collision in Ryde on the Isle of Wight.

It’s alleged a dark coloured Ford Mondeo was reversing from George Street into Roundhouse Mews at 11.45am on Monday, July 2, 2012, when the car collided with a 70-year-old man who was standing on the pavement.

Taken to hospital for injuries
The man fell and received chest and knee injuries. He went to hospital for treatment.
