Emergency gas main repair works on Park Road, Wootton have resulted in the road being closed its entire length for what could be up to five days.
Island Roads issued the emergency closure for the road, which is often used a shortcut to East Cowes, this afternoon, saying,
Park Road will be closed from A3054 Lushington Hill to Station Road from. 3.15 pm (today) Thursday 17 December until approx. 4.30pm on Tuesday 22 December 2015 for emergency gas main repair works by Southern Gas Networks
If possible the road will be re-opened sooner.
Diversion Route: A3054 Lushington Hill and High Street and Station Road.
