Roll up, Roll up for this brilliant one-stop shop of all things nature, wildlife, science and community, with the spotlight on Sandown, the Bay in the Isle of Wight Biosphere.
It’s a free event for everyone, brought to you and funded by The Common Space, Hullabaloo and Island Nature, and takes place at Browns Golf Course and green space by the sea.
Not just filled with wildlife activities and creativity for kids, but there’s a fantastic way for all ages to spark some synapses, learn more about biodiversity in the Bay and the natural world beyond
Pop along to the pop-ups
There’s the Pop-up Natural History museum, the National Trust, National Poos, Wildlife and Wildheart Trusts, Squirrels and Fossils… and of course, a hint of Hullabaloo with Shademakers carnival artists, when cardboard gets creative! There’ll even be a spot of Community Sports Action.
Island Nature will be collecting suggestions for how to support wildlife on the Island too so everyone can get a chance to contribute to the Isle of Wight’s Local Nature Recovery Strategy.
Where and when
Discovery Bay takes place on Saturday 18th May at Browns Golf Course in Sandown, from 10am – 4pm.
It’s free for everyone.
Refreshments will be available from the new PLUTO cafe at Browns.
