Ever the indispensable resource for up to the minute island news! I was going to go to Gunwarf today for some last gasp christmas shopping. I might leave it till tuesday now! Cheers Guys. can nurse my hangover in peace without leaving the house!

I’ve just been over to Gunwharf today and caught the charter replacement vessel on the way back this afternoon, and it was fine. It still docks in the same place and didn’t seem to take any longer than the cat.

Apparently Wight Ryder I is sickly and likely wont be back till Jan, and the backup (Fastcat Ryde) is having some remedial work too, hence the use of Wight Scene/Solent Cat. Shouldnt last too long hopefully!
