Red Funnel is pre-warning customers of anticipated delays to its services on the afternoon of Sunday 31 July due to the Clipper Round the World Yacht race which starts in the Solent.
HMS Illustrious and a large number of spectator boats will follow the 10 Clipper yachts in a sail parade down Southampton Water to the start line off the Royal Yacht Squadron, Cowes.
Red Jet passengers with onward connections are advised to allow extra time for their journey.
