Readers may remember one of the latest festivals set up on the Isle of Wight earlier this year was the Festival of the Sea.
Organised by Visit Isle of Wight, the festival ran between 14th September and 22nd September this year.
Next year, 2014, the festival will move to earlier in the year (19th to 23rd June) to coincide with the annual JP Morgan Asset Management Round the Island Race.
Round the Island Race, which this year celebrated its 82nd year, is organised by the Island Sailing Club. In 2014, it’ll take place on 21st June.

“We are in discussion with the Island Sailing Club and the JP Morgan Asset Management Round the Island Race management team to consider opportunities to work together and explore ideas that will further enhance the overall competitor and visitor experience during the Race weekend.”
