St Catherine’s are looking for teams to take Yarmouth’s Thorley Brook to have fun, show off handmade rafts and raise money for the charity.
Prizes will be awarded for overall race winner, as well as best fancy dress and most sponsorship raised. The event will take place from midday on Saturday 8th June.
30th anniversary
2013 is a very special year for Ventnor-based St Catherine’s, as they celebrate the 30th anniversary of the charity which supports children and young people with speech, language and communication needs. The Raft Race will be a fundraising event as part of these celebrations.
