Author Milan Rai and artist Emily Johns talk about their travels in Iran as part of a peace delegation on Friday 3rd May.

Emily Johns and Milan Rai:‘Culturally, ‘Persia’ has been a potent influence on the British imagination on poetry, on theatre, on story-telling and on ceramics.

Emily and Milan
Emily Johns is a printmaker, illustrator, poetry publisher, newspaper editor and activist involved in peace work.

Milan Rai is co-editor of ‘Peace news’ author of ‘Chomsky’s Politics‘ and other published works and has been granted the Pax Christi Peace award and Frank Cousins Peace Award.

Their talk ‘Drawing Paradise’ takes place at the Methodist Church in Ryde on Friday 3rd May from 7.30pm.
