Find out how to take part in the 2014 Race for All

This in from Race for All organisers. Ed

We are inviting men, women and children to join in an all-day event of fun and sporting activity for the very cause that affects one third of people.

We are very fortunate to have the head laboratory for cancer research based in Southampton.

This means for anyone who has received or is receiving treatment are getting the best care in the whole of Europe.

Choice of runs
There will be two runs:

  • 5k competitive race for mixed adults (18+) only
  • 5k fun run/walk or jog for everyone

Registration is charged at £10 for 16 + and £5 for children (admin fee) for which all sponsorship you raise goes directly to the charity.

Don’t miss the ‘Try-Sport village’
Along with the run we will be holding a free Try-Sport village with all sports clubs and governing bodies show casing what they have to offer on the Island.

It also gives you, the public, a chance to try the sports as well as getting info on how to get involved or join a team. Nike will be show casing and Large Island firm Reynolds & Read Ltd will be sponsoring the event.

Supporting Cancer Research UK
Cancer Research UK will be there in force, offering advice and support with their donation station for any unwanted clothes (all gratefully excepted).

Onsite there will be food, merchandise, other entertainment and we are very proud to announce that Special Celebrity Guests will be attending.

Race for ALL takes place on 17th August 2014 at Medina Leisure Centre, Newport, Isle of Wight
between 10.30 to 16.00.

There are two ways of raising sponsorship either by setting up a Just Giving page or traditional sponsor forms which you can download from our Website.

Don’t forget Race for ALL is about having fun, wear what you want (there’s even a best dressed competition), bring who you want (dogs allowed) and run how you want. Together we can beat cancer.
