The Cowes Floating Bridge will be suspended later this week for repair work to the prow.
According to a spokesperson from the Isle of Wight council, a prow pin has worked lose and needs replacing on the Floating Bridge.
The service will be suspended between 10am and midday on Thursday 22nd August to undertake these works.
A launch service will be in place for foot passengers and cyclists whilst the works are being undertaken.
