The Cowes floating bridge will be taken out of service at 8.30am tomorrow (Thursday 6 January) to replace a drive shaft which has broken during the Christmas period.
Work is expected to last approximately one week, although every effort will be made to complete the work sooner.
A launch service will be in operation for pedestrians and those with bicycles, vehicles will be diverted via Newport.
