Hannah from the Isle of Wight Foodbank initiative has been in touch.
The reason for her call was to share the news that there’ll be a Foodbank collection this coming weekend.
The core of the Foodbank idea is to gather healthy food from members of the public and parcel them into packages that can feed people in need for three days.
Donations will be collected from 9.30am on Saturday (9th July), at Waitrose in East Cowes.
If you can spare anything, please consider donating non-perishable items for those in need.
