Four cats found in Ventnor

Thanks to Elaine Pitt for sharing details of what started as two, but ended up becoming four cats, that she has recently found in Ventnor. Ed

Yesterday morning I found a hungry female cat in my garden and I could not ignore her meows, she was starving, so I fed her, coxed her indoors where she has been sleeping on a kitchen chair ever since. She is bony, obviously missing for a while.

question-mark-tail-bnilsenAnyway, she had been indoors for about ten minutes, another cat appeared at my patio door, he looked like a male, a very good looking cat.

He was starving too, but I couldn’t feel if he was bony as he was scared.

I have put a box and blanket in my shed and I have seen him going in and out of the shed.

I don’t think these are cats that have been turfed out, from their looks, perhaps someone has moved recently.

I have checked the description of the missing cat on your page and it doesn’t match, I have checked Wightbay missing pets, checked the Clarendon Court Fire where a gent had lost his cats, and they don’t match the descriptions of any cats lost recently.

Since then another two cats have appeared. They are all too friendly to be feral, all very affectionate.
