Thanks to Tanja for sharing details of how the clear-up session went yesterday and to Josh for the photos. Ed
Am just back from another excellent work day at former Frank James Hospital. A big thank you to all who came. Around 20 people helped out, amongst whom were several newcomers.
We were also well fed by the by now-traditional and as always delicious pasties from Louise Atkins!
The grounds are starting to look better and better, but there is still lots to do and we will have another gathering in a months time, date yet to be confirmed.
Concern for building
Our greatest concern is for the building itself, which should not be allowed to deteriorate any further.
We now all hope that work on the building will recommence soon so that it can be restored to its former glory.
The Frank James Hospital was bequeathed to the people of East-Cowes and they deserve to see it back in use, for the benefit of all.
