Frank James Hospital: Another Successful Day of Clearing

Thanks to Robin from the Friends of the former Frank James Hospital for this update on yesterday’s latest clear-up. In his own words. Ed

Frank James clearance:Around 15 people from every age range turned up at Frank James hospital yesterday, with the main aim of allowing the building to breathe, as the weeds and undergrowth were affecting the future of the building.

Isle of Wight MP, Andrew Turner and his partner took part, dedicating around two hours of hard graft.

Issues need addressing
We would like to thank Mr Turner for his interest and dedication to see action for the building and taking time out his busy schedule for him and his partner to attend our event.

We also had the custodian from the National Trust Needles Battery who lives locally in East Cowes helping. They echoed the same concerns of local residents, who say that the building could be lost if issues are not addressed with the owners.

Thank you to everyone involved!
