If you’re wondering what to do with your Dad on Fathers’ Day (17th June), why not head to the Shipwreck Centre & Maritime Museum.
They’re offering free entry all day between 10am to 5pm.
You may have been to the museum when it was based in Bembridge, but since 2006, the museum has had the luxury of larger premises at Arreton Old Village.
Annual event
Martin who has been running the museum since 1978 offers “free open days” every year and this year he’s timed it with Fathers’ Day.
If you remember the museum from its Bembridge days, it has expanded quite a bit since, with the addition of a lifeboat museum and far more to see now.
