The tour is nearing completion, here’s day five in Gareth Icke’s Tour Diary. Ed

Gareth Icke Liberty Tour Blog: Day FiveThursday 30th October
Day five. I’m in Coventry, in a sleeping bag looking like a giant condom. But hey! I’m promoting safe sleep.

Last night was great. A really nice intimate venue in the centre of Coventry called The Tin Angel.

The audience was great and everything went smoothly…ish.

I will say, candles on tables + cardboard CD box + Jono’s man bag = towering inferno.

Today is the most tiring one so far. We’re doing the 2 hour drive up to Sheffield in a bit, playing and then driving straight to Glasgow.

I’m sharing driving so will have to stay sober for this evening.

I can hear my liver screaming with joy…Ooooff…I’ve just punched her and now she’s quiet. I say ‘her’ because she nags. :-)

It feels weird to be nearing the end of our jaunt.

This should be my life, only stopping to take in a Derby game and then get straight back on it.

This has been an overwhelming success so I’m guessing the next installment shouldn’t be far away. More than likely March for the West side of Britain and the the summer will bring liberty to Northern Europe.

I’m tired.
