Make your way to the Church of St Saviour on the Cliff Church, Queens Road, Shanklin on Monday to listen to the beautiful tones of Island based singer/ songwriter Gila Antara as she joins forces with beVOICE (60 vibrant voices from Germany) to lead the audience through an evening of unique compositions of music and song from many cultures and religions from around the world.
The purpose of the evening of celebration is to raise much needed funds for a village in India with the help of the Cuddalore Health and Agriculture Trust India.
The evening offers celebration of singing, chatting, sounding and listening, helping to raise money and empower villagers from Cuddalore district in Tamil Nadu to grow local, healthily produced food, benefit from access to health care and live and work in harmony with nature.
Tickets are priced at £7.50 and £4 for children under 16. There will be a raffle, refreshments and CDs for sale.
