Harcourt Sands: Public meeting to gather views for development

Thanks to Anna Fauzy-Ackroyd for sharing details of this event tomorrow (Wednesday) morning. In her own words. Ed

On Wednesday (1st August) at 9am there is a tour of Harcourt Sands for those interested in what shape the development should take.

It will be followed by presentations and design workshops at St Peter’s Church Hall, Church Street, Seaview.

The company (ZeroC holdings) says it hopes the following afternoon, there will be a presentation of the designs which evolve at the workshop.

The company itself envisages a development incorporating 100 homes.

Give your input
This seems an important opportunity for local people to a have some input into a very well loved part of Ryde which makes up part of the natural setting of our beautiful seafront.

I am assuming the meeting point for the tour will be at the Harcourt Sands main entrance on Puckpool Hill Road.  I will let you know if I hear anything different

Spread the news
It would be wonderful to have a good turn out from residents interested in a sensitive development for this site.

Please forward this to anyone you know who might be interested in attending.
