Have a Safe and Happy Christmas with the Community Advice Network

If you’re looking for some advice this week, don’t rely just on fortune cookies.

Anyone going to the Brighstone Christmas Tree Festival this Friday or Saturday can take advantage of the Community Advice Network trailer which can be found in the car park of the Three Bishops Public House.

The Community Advice Network is a group of local organisations working in partnership to provide quality advice and representation for Isle of Wight residents within their communities.

Come along for information and advice on a range of issues including avoiding scams and door-step sales, pension credits and other benefits, home fire safety checks, help with hearing loss, keeping well over winter, learning new skills and volunteering opportunities across the island.

Members of the Network will be available from 12 noon till 4.00 pm on Friday and from 10.00 am till 2.00 pm on Saturday.
