On Saturday 22 November, 10am – 4pm Islanders are invited to visit St. Thomas’ Square, Newport to learn from organisations and groups covering a wide range of health and wellbeing topics.

Making the most of the life
The event will include activities for all ages, exhibitions, displays and practical demonstrations. This is an opportunity for everyone to find out what’s available on the Isle of Wight.

Suzanne Wixey, Programme Director for the Island’s ‘My Life A Full Life’ programme says:

“This event provides an opportunity for Islanders to find out about the range of activities and services available to enable them to make the most of life on the Island.

“No matter what your age, where you live or your circumstances there will be something for everyone.”

The event will be held in St. Thomas’ Square, Newport Minster and Newport Methodist Church Hall, Quay Street, Newport as well as participating shops and businesses.

Self Care and Alcohol Awareness Weeks
The event promotes Self Care and Alcohol Awareness Weeks (17-23 November 2014) and is preceded by a number of Roadshows across the Island from 17th to 21st November – look out for events near you and the ‘My Life a Full Life’ Mobile Information and Support Service Vehicle.
